Sourcing to the process data sheet
In this sector the data sheet already exists. Someone in process engineering produced it, and it contains everything a manufacturer needs: fluid, flow, pressure drop, temperature, materials, failure action. The problem is that purchasing often works from a tag number instead, and the data sheet stays in a folder.
We work the other way round. The data sheet is the enquiry document, and every offer is checked line by line against it before it goes to the plant — including the details that are easy to miss and impossible to fix on site.

Turnaround support
A turnaround has a fixed start and a fixed end. Inside that window, an item arriving late is not a late delivery — it is a delayed restart, and it is measured in lost production per day. Procurement for a turnaround therefore behaves differently from routine procurement, and we run it differently.
Where turnaround supply actually breaks
Rarely in manufacturing. Almost always in the detail: a valve correct in every respect except its face-to-face dimension. A positioner shipped unconfigured, costing commissioning hours the schedule never allowed for. A certificate that arrives three weeks after the equipment, holding up a handover that is otherwise complete.
- Pre-order verification — dimensions, trim, actuator sizing and failure action checked against the data sheet before placement
- Consolidated shipping — items grouped and tagged by unit area, in installation sequence
- Documentation at delivery — certificates and test records arrive with the goods, not afterwards
- Third party inspection — at the manufacturer’s works, before release for shipment
- Progress reporting — status against the turnaround schedule, while there is still time to react
- Critical spares — identified and held rather than ordered when needed
